Bartaco is a simple-yet-hip taco bar that serves fresh, authentic and high-quality tacos and small bites. Famous for its Margaritas and Mojitos, plus an extensive Tequila list. Westchester Magazine says "It’s fabulously beachy, industrial, glamorous, yet still casual. Plus, when summer hits, its giant glass wall will open on the Byram river like a triple garage door."

531 North Main Street, (914) 937-3497

This homey restaurant is one of a kind: welcoming, laid back, accommodating. The open kitchen adds to the informality. An eclectic menu built on basic bistro fare is full of surprises, adding pungency, peppery heat or fruity sweetness to dishes that have their roots in Asia, France or regional America. The excellent breads served here came from the Kneaded Bread, this cafe's Main Street neighbor, and superior butter was worthy of the bread. Really surprising little place with fantastic food and great service. Also great for kids if you go reasonably early, otherwise definitely have to book.

Soups, salds and more - Coals also boasts some of the tastiest salads and appetizers using the hightest quality ingredients. The famous Coals burger is juicy and full of flavor."
