"Urbane, sophisticated, and lively, Barcelona Greenwich is chic fun with terrific food. Opened in 2001, Barcelona Greenwich has been featured on ABC news as one of the New York area’s “hot spots,” and in Connecticut Magazine as a three star dining experience.  Polished service from professional waiters and managing partner Christian Petroni in the evening gives way to a lively bar scene in the late hours."

"I just want to recommend Barcelona in Greenwich to everybody. It's well known as a busy, buzzy place in the evenings - free-flowing sangria, tapas, late-night dancing - but it's also really lovely at lunchtime with a completely different atmosphere.  I went there with a friend to celebrate the end of her chemo treatment last year, and again more recently to celebrate that anniversary, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and generous on both occasions - wouldn't let us pay for drinks, gave us free dessert. Great tapas too and you can have as much or as little as you like - very casual and easy-going. Parking is easy too - meters all along the road and always spaces available."

220 Sound Beach Ave, Old Greenwich

Beach House cafe, located a stone's throw from route I-95 and a short stroll from the picturesque Old Greenwich Shoreline, has stayed true to its name since it's inception in 2004. The menu features traditional American fare, smartly accented with a nautical flavor, to provide a truly unique dining experience.  The subtle black and white decor with hints of sea washed color only enhances the ambiance of the space.  Beach House Cafe is the perfect place for drinks after work late night snackes, Sunday brunch or lunch/dinner with friends.  Live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights performed by local artists keeps the oval shaped bar buzzing until last call.

Also a great place for breakfast/brunch before/after a stroll on Greenwich beach in the Fall/Winter.

China White Noodle Bar, 249 Railroad Ave, Greenwich, CT 06830

Eat in or take out, China White, is a sleek, modern, sophisticated restaurant that prepares real Chinese food and pulls no punches. Think ‘dumpling noodle house’ meets ‘Chinatown street vendor’, prepared by Hong Kong cooks. Bring to that service, style, and an eco-friendly environment with an organic, local focus on ingredients, and China White becomes that place where Chinese food is presented in an unbastardized version of its bright, fresh and flavorful self.

Communal tables and counter seating add to the energy of the room and the menu’s focus on authentic recipes and preparations make up the underlining culture of the China White experience. Organic chicken, local raised pork, grass fed beef, organic silken tofu, wild caught fish and seafood, cage-free chicken eggs, free range duck, and organic vegetables make up the menu.
