Farms, Fruit Picking, Christmas Trees
There are lots of farms within a short driving distance and this makes for a fun weekend outing. Pick fresh fruit and vegetables, or pick pumpkins at Halloween ready for carving. Check out the websites to see what each farm has to offer.
Get into the Christmas spirit by finding your own tree at one of the Christmas tree farms. You'll be given a saw and taken to the tree area. All you have to do is choose your tree (that's the hard part!) and then start cutting! The tree is then transported to an area where they'll wrap it for you and help secure it to your car.
