"We use Taconic. We don't have a contract as such - they just come in the spring and summer to service and change the filters. We've only needed them once in between times. Can't remember exactly how much but remember thinking it was reasonable at the time and they are always very responsive. They installed our system too so I think that probably helps - they should know what they're doing anyway! I buy the filters myself from amazon.com - saves a fortune - filters are $30 for a pair on Amazon; Taconic used to charge $150! It was one of the guys from Taconic who told me couple of years ago I should do it, and exactly what I should order - saved a fortune!"
